Background Information:
The Project Manager will travel to projects as needed. On average, 50% or more overnight travel is required. Many projects are located in the Midwest but can be located anywhere in the US. Project types vary but often include framing, concrete, roofing and other trades contractor work for large livestock confinement buildings on farms.

Job Summary:
The Project Manager is a managerial role providing instruction and direction to other members of the project team, vendors and suppliers, as well as providing informational updates to clients and owners alike. In this role you will ensure completion of the project according to budget, contract, and schedule by following operational process and procedure to ensure timely and accurate communication with all parties. Project Managers are also expected to lend talents on special projects supporting the growth and development of the company, and those around them.
Responsibilities: •Building and maintaining a positive relationship with customers and vendors before, during and after completion of project with a focus on customer loyalty and retention. •Timely and frequent communication to management team, clients and owners, Superintendent and field teams as it relates to project deliverables, schedule changes and additional requirements. •Execution of contract administration, including change orders, buy out and schedule according to construction budget, and contract while upholding customer centric approach. •Supervision and management of job-site, Superintendent and Field Team; develop strong relationships with field staff. •Provide oversite and supervision through job-site visits and complete site walk throughs to ensure owner expectations, safety, quality, and schedule expectations are being met. •Complete and maintain accurate management of financial projections •Ensure regularly scheduled owner/client meetings are being held and meeting minutes are documented for project management team. •Problem solve issues of day-to-day operations with clients and owners, project team, vendors and suppliers, and sub-contractors. •Utilization of company tools and resources for project management communication and documentation. •Plan, Coordinate, and Execute plan for housing accommodations for crew workers directly with Housing Manager. •Plan, Coordinate, and Execute transportation arrangements for crew workers with Fleet Manager and Human Resources. •Obtain necessary visa documentation from customers including: Farm Labor Agreement, Owner Agreement, Job Site Itinerary, and Housing Addresses. •Coordinate with immigration attorneys to submit all necessary project specific documentation for visa filings to obtain workforce Project Managers are accountable for: •Upholding safety and quality standards of the organization; being an example in the office and on the job-site. •Documentation, including retention of correspondence, signed and executed change-orders, and complying project files at the end of the project to be maintained. •Being knowledgeable for issues that may be pertaining to the day-to-day operations of the project; being able to answer and represent on behalf of the company to clients, owners and owner representatives for information being requested. •Self-perform crews, equipment ordering or on-site logistics on-behalf of field team and Superintendents. •Preconstruction evaluation of estimates, scopes of work and providing review of the constructability of the project to best determine crews and sub-contractor qualification and execution of client needs and desires, while maintaining company goals.
